shinobidoAfter their initial offerings, Shinobido: Imashime and Shinobido: Takumi for the PS2, game-makers Spike and Acquire are giving a sneak peak of their next game for the PSP, Shinobido: Homura via their website. The game is slated for release in Japan on October 26 of this year.

Unfortunately, the website for Homura is currently still in Japanese with no English version available.

As far as my shoddy translation can make out of it, though, the front page of the website bears the release date for this game. The second section is a guess at a plot summary, though there's really no sure way of knowing as of yet unless you know how to read fluent kanji.

The third section of the site would be the most interesting as it features the different modes of gameplay that are available in Homura.

However, the best feature that Homura has so far revealed, would be single-player "Mission Play" modes wherein not only do you have the missions within Homura itself (as if 80 in National Play mode wasn't enough!), but it is also possible to download missions from Imashime and Takumi into you PSP. Then there's the Mission Editor that would allow you to orchestrate your own missions.

The site also currently features one trailer in its Movie section, but the Secrets and Screenshots section are both currently still unusable, though there are already screenshots that you can view that are scattered throughout the site.

The second set of screenshots for SEGA's upcoming PSP title, Tenchu: Time of the Assassins have been let loose. The stealth action game will be coming to the PSP on June 23rd this year, and features the ability to play both head-to-head and cooperatively with friends using the PSP's Ad-Hoc capability; along with the added extra of being able to create your own stages and share them with friends, also via Ad-Hoc download.

As Tenchu fans probably already know, the game is being made by in co-operation with FromSoftware and K2 studios - the developers of Technu: Fatal Shadows for the PS2, to ensure the quality of this game. This game is sure to be a cracker, and judging by this monster set of screens this is no home console rip-off. Tenchu: Time of the Assassins is a thoroughbred PSP title, so get ready for some portable Ninja action!
