Here's a new trailer video for PlayStation Portable poker video game title World Championship Poker 2. It should be remembered that Oxygen Games recently clarified the confusion with this game as it is oftentimes mistaken for its Xbox 360 brother World Championship 2: All In.
Anyway, WCP 2 has a lot of features poker players and enthusiasts will find remarkable and exciting. One of which is its online capability that allows gamers to play with up to eight players in one go. There are also several modes like Know the Nuts, Hold'em Nicknames, and Tell Quiz that are unique to the PSP version. World Championship Poker 2 also offers 14 different types of poker games with different levels of simulation for players of different levels. Other worth mentioning features include Create-a-Player and the Skill System which allows in-game characters to improve through experience. |

Oxygen Games just released a new video trailer for its upcoming gambling betting simulation title, Hard Rock Casino. The game is expected to come out on the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 2 (PS2) platforms this coming August and will feature four uniquely themed casinos each with different house rules, among others.
Aside from the above mentioned, Hard Rock Casino, much like real casinos, will sport more than 20 games ranging from Table Games, Machine Games, Poker Room Games, and other sports you can bet on. There will also be tournaments where you can try your so-called luck in Slots, Poker, Black Jack, as well as other Table Games. If you are not familiar with casinos, don't worry because Oxygen Games included several tutorials to provide you with basic instructions, winning strategies, and tips for each game. To get you more familiar with Hard Rock Casino, just watch the trailer video below. Enjoy! |

Oxygen Games sent QJ.net an email concerning two of its poker video game titles namely World Championship Poker 2 for the PlayStation Portable and World Championship Poker 2: All In for Xbox 360. It seems that fans are having a hard time to distinguish the two games from each other. According to Oxygen, the Xbox 360 version of the title is very different from the PSP one. To begin with, All In is not just a subtitle as it indicates that it's a follow up to predecessor World Championship Poker 2. The PSP version now, alongside its PC and PS2 brothers, are that predecessor. Much has been said about WCP2: All In but WCP2 for the handheld console is oftentimes neglected because of the confusion. Take note that the PSP game allows players online multiplayer options for up to eight people. There are also mini games available that can only be found in the WCP2. These are:

We guess this next one will finally settle the score for video game Dave Mirra BMX Challenge. As you all probably know by now, this game didn't do well in North America. This time, Oxygen Games will try to score a Perfect 10 as it makes BMX Challenge available in UK.The game itself has a lot of noteworthy features such as an intuitive control system, different modes, customizable characters, around 17 levels in nine environments, and a host of collectable and upgradeable in-game items. Speaking about modes, Dave Mirra BMX Challenge offers Ad-hoc wireless play for up to four people. Prior to all these, we've already shared with you a lot of screenshots and gameplay videos for this video game. Have you already made up your mind if this game's worth your money or not? If you're still undecided, maybe this official statement from Oxygen Games itself will finally sway you over, "Utilizing sophisticated bike and rider physics to give the game realistic responses, 'Mirra' allows players to experience all the thrills and spills of one of extreme sports’ most popular activities." |

Here's another trailer video for upcoming title Dave Mirra BMX Challenge. Basically, the clip below is similar with all the previous trailers released for the title: It shows Dave Mirra doing his thing interspersed with in-game footage, most possibly to show the similarities between BMX Challenge and the real thing.
Anyway, more than for North American fans, this promotional video is for those in UK as the title will be arriving there on June 15. Dave Mirra BMX Challenge first arrived in the U.S. back in November 2006. It was developed by Oxygen Entertainment and will be published by Crave Entertainment. It should be remembered that BMX Challenge didn't quite rate well in North America. It would be interesting to know what reception PSP owners in other markets are going to give it. |

It really took Oxygen Entertainment a long while before delivering Dave Mirra BMX Challenge in UK. It should be remembered that the video game title had several release date reschedules beginning April to May. Maybe IGN's words really got in the way and Oxygen as well as Crave Entertainment took the time to polish the game. Anyway, if all things go well, fans in UK should finally find BMX Challenge in retail stores starting June 15. Despite the delays and many road blocks, the star Dave Mirra still sounded excited about the game as he said, "this game is the closest thing to reality without the cost of the bumps and bruises." For the benefit of those who have no idea what Dave Mirra BMX Challenge has to offer, we listed down some of the game's noteworthy features:

Video game title King of Clubs is one of the more elusive titles out there. Elusive in the sense that Oxygen Games has been quite mum about its gameplay and background story. All we know right now is that it involves a theme park somewhere down Route 66 in virtual Nevada.Basically, it's a puzzle game with Oxygen now claiming that it'll be focusing more in the game of golf. To be able to complete a variety of puzzles across five themes on more than 95 holes, players must collect, unlock, buy, and hire rewards. These then will be used to build up equipments (in your own theme park perhaps?) and skills. "We've managed to take the mental challenge traditionally associated with puzzle games, and create a fresh, really quirky social experience that's perfect for the way people play games today," commented Oxygen Interactive Publishing Director Kevin Hassall. Each level has a boss whom players must defeat in order to advance. Of course, the culmination of the game is your ultimate showdown with Big Bubba himself. King of Clubs will also be offering multiple game modes and the choice of matchplay or stroke play for up to four players. This can be played using either a multi-tap or sharing two controllers. King of Clubs will be available this coming August on platforms Games for Windows (PC), Wii, PlayStation Portable (PSP), DS, and PlayStation 2 (PS2). |

It's the start of the week again. Care to see what's ahead of you? Off the bat, the list is populated by puzzle and casual games, and capped with an RPG and a racer: 7 Wonders (Mumbo Jumbo) At the top of the list, 7 Wonders hit us from right out of left field. While no one seems to know much about it, it's actually more familiar (Puzzle Quest, Bejeweled, anyone?) than it seems at first. Ancient gems not your thing? Take Cube for a spin. Looks like a trippy game where you have to stretch the boundaries of your spatial imagination. And if you're the risk taker, place your bets on Hard Rock Casino. With the wireless mode support, you'd have to keep your eye on the prize - that could get rough. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift is careening just in time this week too. Racer spun off from the PS2 version, some actually say that it's beefier than it's console counterpart. And finally, for the tactical-RPG folk waiting for The Lion War to start waging, Aedis Eclipse: Generation of Chaos would help you tide the wait over. |

In ProStroke Golf: World Tour 2007, players can shape their handicaps on 18 courses as they go head to head with professional golfers like Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose. The video game also features a Course Designer that allows players to create their own holes and share them online.
