Those who've already been to the PlayStation Store might've run into the new EA Sports category over there. Just like Capcom dating back to November in 2008 with the release of Age of Booty, EA Sports would be the second to have its own special storefront.

The latest European PlayStation Store update is now available. This week's content includes a Crash Commando fill game price cut,  three new downloadable games featuring Smash Cars and Battle Tanks, playable demos of F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn and NHL 10 and more. For Batman: Arkham Asylum fans, now is your change to add the Joker in the game for free while PSP owners can get hold of Dynasty Warriors. More after the jump.

Getting ready the purchase some contents on PSN Europe tomorrow? Well SCEE got you covered as they release the full list of update, one day ahead of schedule. This week, you can grab the much awaited PSN game Fat Princess, Watchmen: The End is Nigh part 2 and a demo of Numblast. A free Fight Night Round 4 DLC pack, Rag Doll Kung Fu Time Savers pack and the usual music DLC's round up the list of add-on contents. For the PSP, Unbound Saga will be available this week along with Samurai Warriors and Numblast demo.

The Playstation Store update for Europe is now available. This week, you have three excellent PSN games that includes the PS3 exclusive Punisher: No Mercy, an old school classic James Pond: Robocod, the massive PSP hit game Monster Hunter Freedom Unite plus four other PSP games, new add-on contents for MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, LittleBigPlanet  and more.

It's Day 2 of E3, and the PlayStation Store just got updated again with the latest vids, clips, and demos from the Electronic Entertainment Expo. This update features the second and third parts of the E3 presscon, plus a whole bunch of trailers and debut vids all waiting to be downloaded, as well as a few other items that you might wanna take a look at. A new version is out for JPCSP, the Java-based PSP emulator for the PC. This version fixes a UMD drive issue, though no further details on its implications were released.

In its second week running, FIFA 09 still manages to keep its score. Electronic Arts' football game retains the top spot in Chart Track UK's weekly sales ranking for software. Last week's seconder, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, looses its grip and slides down to fourth place, thus giving rise to the caped crusader. Lego Batman: The Video Game debuts this week in second place.
