Now how about that? An FTP server that fits into your back pocket. Homebrew developer Zx-81 tossed an update our way for PSP-FTPD that hikes up the compatibility bar for open firmwares in the 3.xx range (3.xx OEs). Like the past revisions of PSP-FTPD, version 0.4.0 will allow users to utilize their PlayStation Portable's WiFi access to transfer files from the PSP to another network node (e.g., TFTP server) and vice versa. For optimal results with PSP-FTPD, Zx-81 recommends FileZilla for Windows users and gFTP for Linux users. And since the release of version 0.3.7, Zx-81 has made the following improvements (taken from the readme file): Version 0.4.0

PSP homebrew dev Cpasjuste, who also gave us 2.71 SE-B VSH Overclocking module, has released a port of PSP-FTPD originally created by PSPKrazy, picked up by Zx-81 which he modded to work as module under the 3.03 VSH. It's called VSH FTPD Module 1 for DA 3.03 FW. It's an FTP server that will run under the VSH when launched with the updater icon from the PSP menu. How to install and use:
Please refer to the readme file before you use this application. Or in the words of Cpajuste: THE MODULE WILL BE FLASHED TO YOUR PSP. WHILE THIS HAS BEEN TESTED AND SHOULD BE SAFE, THIS IS CAN BRICK YOUR PSP. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Download: [VSH FTPD Module 1 for DA 3.03 FW] Discuss: [Forum Release Thread] |

Zx-81 has released yet another build of the one-and only PSP-FTPD FTP program for your PSP today. This FTP client allows you to access your server (i.e. Computer) through FTP commands whenever you want, wherever you want using just your 1.5 PSP, PSP-FTPD on your PSP, a PC FTP client and a WiFi connection. This allows you to send and retrieve files or complete directories to and from your PSP without any cables! Zx-81 recommends Filezilla or FireFTP as your FTP client of choice for the PC.Here's whats new in this version:

How about a second helping of a Zx-81-made program today? I knew you wouldn't say no. Zx has released an update for his FTP server application for the PSP, PSP-FTPD, today updating it to version 0.3.7. PSP FTPD uses the PSP's WiFi connection in order to to transfer files from your PC to your PSP through a PC FTP application. Zx-81 recommends FileZilla for Windows users, and gFtp for Linux users. Two versions have actually been made recently since we last reported on PSP-FTPD, so here are the changelogs: v0.3.6:
