Homebrew developer JPJunkie (pspfreefiles) has released the latest update to his Flash Portal for the Sony PlayStation Portable called Ultimate PSP v1.6. For those of you who haven't heard of this kind of software, it's a nice package of Flash Games and other applications in one big bag.Ultimate PSP v1.6 contains 150 Flash games, 29 applications and a link to JPJunkie's new forum where you can tell him what you think of his work and maybe suggest a few things that could be implemented in later versions. Installation is easy and can be done in a few steps. But you have to read the included readme to sort the procedures out. Enjoy all the nifty stuff and the new forums linked! JPJunkie also says the forums will soon need moderators. Download: Ultimate PSP v1.6 |

JPJunkie, also known as pspfreefiles, sent us an email with an update to his Ultimate PSP portal application. Ultimate PSP v1.5 sports a new look, a smaller download size, and some minor fixes with regard to links. For those who don't know what Ultimate PSP is, it's a portal, or browser-based application that allows users to access games and applications. In this case, it'll allow you to play 129 different flash games and use 29 different applications, including a periodic table of elements and a flash-based calculator. In any case, you should give it a try. Just remember to check the included readme for instructions on installing the file and using the application, alright? Enjoy! Download: Ultimate PSP v1.5 |

Portals are sometimes loved more by other PSP owners than homebrew; that's fine, diversity define humans anyway. A PSP portal allows people with PlayStation Portable (PSP) units to run flash games and applications. You might remember that homebrew developer pspfreefiles recently came up with his own portal known as Ultimate PSP. Now, another coder - mcbumface - released a different portal over at QJ.Net Forums quite recently. You should be on firmware 2.7 or higher and flash should be enabled for you to have this one working on your PSP though. The portal contains:

pspfreefiles has released his Ultimate PSP Portal v1.1. So what's in store for you here? Well, downloading the file below the article would bring you 130 Flash games, 29 applications, links to "all the best sites", every released demo, and Ultimate PSP Live. Now that sure is a lot to promise, eh? Well if he's done all that in this one neat package, then we send our wholehearted kudos to pspfreefiles. To install it, simply unzip the file then add the Ultimate PSP folder into the PSP folder called Common. On your PSP browser type file:/psp/common/UltimatePSP/UltimatePSP.htm. But of course, we're also gonna tell you to check out the readme. Always important, guys. Always important. Here's the rest of what's been changed since the last version:
