PSX2PSP lets you play your old PSX titles to your Sony PSP using a simple interface. With the previous build in mind, veteran homebrew coder KingSquitter decided that no more updates will be done, rather, just minor bug fixes. Version 1.3 brings us support for the conversion of multi-games. More details after the jump.Download: PSX2PSP v1.03 |

It's been over a month since we've heard from KingSquitter and his PSX2PSP popstation GUI application, but today we see the release of the much-awaited PSX2PSP v1.0. Recently there's been a battle between the popstation GUIs, and many homebrewers favor either IceTea or PSX2PSP, but many PSX2PSP fans have changed to IceTea because of the lack of updates recently. However, today's update brings a lot of new features, so lets take a look at the changelog:
UPDATE: KingSquitter's turned it into PSX2PSP popstation GUI v1.1 with the following additions:
To start batch mode run "Batch mode.lnk". (Only available after PSX2PSP.exe have been started at least once) When converting in batch mode, all .iso, .bin, .img and .pbp files will ben converted. The program will check in every subfolder for theese files. Command Line: PSX2PSP.exe /theme Opens program in theme mode. There's some additional information on covers as well on the forum page, just for those folks who want even more customization in their GUI. Enjoy your download. With this easy-to-use GUI, you can easily convert your PSX games to 3.03 OE-B playable format. It can also patch pre-made EBOOT.PBP files and handle save file fixes. Here comes another one from KingSquitter after releasing v.0.7 just a couple of days ago. (Thanks go to manias for the info.) He has just released PSPX2PSP v.0.7.1 in which he added support for compression in 3.03 OE-A. This is a GUI for Popstation that allows you to change images, save id, and title. Instructions:

Seth Powell and Henric Swahn decided to make your PSX-playing days on the PSP a little bit easier, as well as a lot prettier. They informed us of their new site, which aims to help gamers find appropriate icons and backgrounds for the PSX games they're putting on their PSPs. |

After having several people look at the changes (written in Japanese), I have finally obtained a usable translation of this new PSP Filer release from our not-to-distant developer Mediumgauge. PSP Filer is a file management program for the PSP like File Assistant but boosts some features that File Assistant does not. This program is slowly receiving gradual updates to its overall support and features and is currently a very stable program, one of which was used in a recent development over file assistant (as it was not compatible). This new version boosts the following changes (Thanks CrUmp for the translation) -

First off, we wanna thank manias for giving us the heads up for this particular news in our forums, kudos to you my man. Alright then, now that due credit has been given, let's get to the topic at hand. KingSquitter sure works fast, doesn't he? After releasing PSP GUI PSX2PSP v0.6 a mere three days ago, he's now back with v0.6.2 which, just in case you weren't able to catch v0.6.1 as well, integrates the following changes into the GUI:
Finally, we'd like to get the attention of PSP newbies who got PSPs for Christmas: Welcome to the PSP community! Check out the FAQs, Guides, and Tutorials at our forums. You might want to take a close look at the Guides: General PSP for general PSP stuff (like figuring out the version of "firmware" you have in your PSP), and then you can get into homebrew by reading the threads in the Guides: Hacks, Homebrew and Emulators forum. Recommended reading includes the ULTIMATE Homebrew Guide and the The Ultimate QJ Guide. Update: Yep, we know. Version 0.7's out already! KingSquitter might not have taken his holiday break at all, but hey, we're not really complaining, are we? In v0.7 of Simple Popstation GUI, the dev's added some new features which include:

We know. It's only been a day since we brought to you the PSP GUI PSX2PSP v0.5. But regardless of how recent we've given you an update on a brew, you can be sure we'll be right on it as soon as we can. That's why we're bringing you today v0.6 of KingSquitter's GUI, which was formerly known as Simple Popstation GUI. Now, what exactly are the changes in this version that warrants this being put up so fast? For one, that bug that made the memory stick LED flash too much has been taken care of. What are the other goodies in store for you in this version? Check out the following:
So, for all the new breed of brewers out there, as well for the oldies, enjoy! Download: [PSP GUI PSX2PSP v0.6] Discuss: [Forum Release Thread] |

Do you have some more room for another PopStation GUI? Well, we better accommodate them since a lot of devs are keen on helping us maximize the capabilities of 3.02 OE-B. JuniorSlick passed by our forums recently and shared with us this program called PSX2PSP v0.5 which is a simple Popstation GUI blessed with image, save, and title support. How to use it? Well, unlike danny_kay's take on the PopStation GUI gig, this one doesn't come with a readme file. But don't worry, the forum release thread is pretty comprehensive. Anyhow, this was made by KingSquitter and since this is the first time that we're talking about it, we'll give you some instructions on how to use it. Usage
