CWcheat - Image 1 CWCheat has just been updated to 0.1.6 REV.I. And according to homebrew developer Weltall, this revision should now work "on all the released and yet to release (if Sony doesn't do something crazy) psx emulators," and should work on firmwares 3.10OE/ALL.

He also reports that coding for the Cwcheat interface is complete, and that people may now add/remove codelines from cheats in the cheat modification section of his app - read the changelog below for further details:
  • Rewritten from scratch half of the mc management internal code, so now mc should be found in all cases (all emulators/plugins) and most probably also in emulators still not out[POPS]
  • It's now possible to remove codelines with SELECT in the cheat modification menu[ALL]
  • It's now possible to add codelines with START in the cheat modification menu[ALL]
  • Other fixes and little modifications[ALL]
As always, we strongly recommend a viewing of the enclosed bundle's README, along with trying out the bundle's PSXMC2PSP app, which was a recent addition to the pack. Lastly, do remember to see Pasky's CWCheat tools or database editor - both will work with Weltall's homebrew quite nicely. Enjoy the download.

Here's CWCheat - Image 1Weltall's got a new version of CWCheat up for people to try out, and boy, is it a doozy. In addition to the usual bug fixes, he's got a bunch of new features CWCheat fans will definitely like...

Perhaps the one feature that'll delight many users here is the inclusion of his recently released PSXMC2PSP application, which allows you to basically move your saved game files across the PS1 onto the PS2 and PSP.

That being said, he's added support for it, so you should have a pretty easy process for using the two apps, since he made PSXMC2PSP and CWCheat 0.1.6 REV. H for 3.03OE/ALL.

In any event, he's got a pretty extensive set of readme instructions in English and Italian for the different apps, and it's always a pleasure to see him taking the time out to help newcomers and veterans with their questions about his app. Before anything else, make sure you check the readme files so you don't accidentally mess with your PSP's settings. While you're at it, maybe you can see if Pasky's set of CWCheat tools will work with this latest version, eh?

Changes:
  • Added support for memory cards in the pops emulator if the new converter is used (with the homebrew DATA.PSP and no KEYS.BIN) either for the 303 and 302 EMU [POPS]
  • It's now possible to remove a code from the select cheats menu: press R + TRIANGLE [ALL]
  • It's now possible to add a new code from the select cheats menu: press R + SQUARE [ALL]
  • Added PSXMC2PSP [PACKAGE]
  • Other things and bugfixes [ALL]
