Developer Zack is announcing the release of Wolfenstein 3D v3.0, a PSP port of id Software's FPS of the same name. This build features full PSP Slim and sound support, among other updates. Details are available in the full article.

We know hardly any of you would look this way, now that your pre-order of Snake's final chapter has shipped to your doorstep. But Sony would just like you to know that they've added new things to the US PlayStation Store this week, and some of it's even angled to enhance your Metal Gear Solid 4 experience. It's another Thursday, and that means European gamers have something new to celebrate about as Sony delivers yet another set of updates to its PlayStation Store. This week sees another set of shoot 'em up titles with Activision's Enemy Territory Quake Wars walking hand-in-hand with Southpeak Interactive's Monster Madness: Grave Danger. For a demo, homebrew developer MDave's Kurok project does its part as a convincing FPS pretty nicely (previous version here). It's got nice graphics, variety of weapons, and competent AI down pat. What's new with this version? Well, many things, including new grenade models and expanded maps, among others.

A bit of sad news here: Activision has decided to pull the plug on its Foster City studio, Underground Development. Some 45 employees will be affected by the closure of the firm recognized for its work on extreme sports sims and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. More details after the jump!

Developer Quake has recently unveiled the Pandora CMD Front End, a GUI for Team C+D's Pandora Unbricker application. This GUI has been built to run for PSPs running on firmwares 1.50, 3.71, and 3.80. Further details on this app are available in the full article.
