Homebrew coder pen is back to release a new update for MacroFire, a multi-purpose plugin that allows you to reassign the PSP buttons, adjust the analog stick's sensitivity, and enable rapidfire mode. The latest update has bump up the homebrew to version 3.0.4.

Heads up GEN users, the folks at PSPGen have announced that a new update for Custom Firmware 5.50GEN will be released soon. The Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-B will feature new updates mostly in the VSH Recovery Menu.

Looks like Sony isn't just looking into more PS3-PSP interconnectivity. Down at CES, they demonstrated a new app on the PSP that allows it to run as a Wi-Fi remote control for networked audio streams. Details after the link.
