Homebrew coder Sakya has released a new update for his modified version of the OldSchool Library. Notable features of the latest OSLib MOD update includes -- added VFPU math library, remote control functions, adhoc functions and some other bug fixes.

The JPCSP team has released a new update for JPCSP,  the Java emulator for the PSP. The latest update has added a new feature in Savedata mode 11.

Developer daaa57150 followed up on his DJ Drops demo project and is now up to demo 5,  otherwise known as the 09/19 Update. He says that this demo should be able to work now on any custom firmware above 2.00.

Those who need to backup their PSP savedata regularly for some reason may need to take a look into this good alternative, the Miro Savedata Manager. The Miro Savedata suite has a unique feature: you can actually install a standalone version into the memory stick so you can access the program using any PC, even if that PC doesn't have the program installed. Those who enjoyed the initial release of the homebrew application Lib SDK Utilities will be happy to know that French coder dridri85 just rolled out a new build, bumping it up to version 0.2. One of the primary changes deals with the background color and image. Know more after the jump!

Hellcat has released a new version of the Savegame Deemer plugin on the QJ.NET PSP Development forum. As stated in our previous post on this plugin, Savegame Deemer lets PSP users save unencrypted savedata from their games, making them easier to edit. Check out the changelog in the full article.

Some of us want to tinker with savedata to make our lives easier when playing games. However, the process has become much complicated, if not impossible, after PSP FW 1.5. Good thing though that homebrew coder Hellcat released a new plugin that addresses exactly that.

Called Savegame Deemer, this allows the PlayStation Portable to save any savedata in unencrypted form as well as the normal way. For more details, check out the full article by clicking the "read more" link below.

Man, that was quick. PSP homebrew icon Dark AleX has just released the first update for the new 3.80 M33 custom firmware. Note that 3.80 M33-2 requires 3.80 M33 to work. This update brings a fix for the new custom firmware's icon issue as well as a necessary fix for homebrew that report the PSP's CPU speed. The full changelog in the full article.

Here's something for those who don't want to go through creating folders manually after formatting their Sony PlayStation Portable memory sticks. Homebrew developer Mirzab14's CreatDir checks existing directories, then creates whatever you missed. More details await at the full article.
