Have any of you guys heard of the NIMF? Nope? Okay, to brief you guys, NIMF stands for National Institute on Media and the Family, it's an independent, non-partisan, non-sectarian, nonprofit organization.Errr...from that and the title alone I bet some of you guys can already feel the oncoming surge of parental restrictions, eh? In this case, you're right on the target. NIMF has just released the 11th issue of their MediaWise Video Game Report Card. Now, whaddya guys think this report card grades? Yep, you got it -- video games. It basically runs down the goings-on in the gaming community and grades video games according to how "child-friendly" they are. Now before you get your panties all in a twist, they're not exactly anti-gaming you guys, they're just, as they say, looking out for the welfare of children and teens. The report card is actually pretty intensive so we'll just get to the core of this whole issue and bring you guys the list of games that are parent-approved, and those that aren't, alright? Click "Full Article" to take a look at the list! |

Ok that might be an overstatement but we have been waiting nervously for more information on Scarface">Scarface: Money, Power, Respect ever since the cancellation on Xbox 360. The publisher, Sierra">Sierra said our wait is over today with 3 screenshots from Scarface for the PSP. In this mix of turn based strategy and real time action you take on the roll of Tony Montana. Play through the scenarios of the movie and take on the endeavours of a young and upcoming mob boss in Miami. With 2-4 multiplayer mode via Ad Hoc, you take command of a battling cartel and strive to take control over business and territory. Money is Power and Power is Respect so obtain as much as possible in order to get the edge over on your competition. Set for release in October 2006, right around the corner. Still don't believe me? "I always tell the truth, even when I lie." Two more screenshots await you after the jump. |
