Things were pretty quiet on the PSP blog this week. Some good news still managed to filter through, though: There's a new Monster Hunter entry in the works, Kojima Productions is still cranking out the demos to tweak Peace Walker even further, and there's  new LocoRoco game out. Of course, you gotta take the good with the bad: we also got news of Fireteam Bravo 3 getting delayed this week.

I got some bad news guys. Seems like we'll have to wait a bit longer for the next iteration of the SOCOM franchise to hit the PSP as Slant Slix has confirmed that SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 will be delayed until January next year.

In an effort to entice current PSP owners to Go and upgrade to the new PSP model, Sony is launching a "PSP Go Rewards" program, where you can get your hands on three games free of charge. Read on and find out how.

We're less that two weeks away from the PSP Go's launch but it looks like people are still very divided over it. It's not just the gamers too -- even retailers are torn. Some have predicted its failure while a few have even outright opposed the handheld and Sony's download-only model for it. Sony, on the other hand, seems all set to follow through not only with the Go, but with the PSP brand as a whole, as rumors (and history, really) suggest that there are more hardware iterations in the pipeline. Slant Six Games' latest PSP installment SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALS Fireteam Bravo 3 is looking pretty neat. The game will feature an all new campaign with four player online co-op mode, over seventy weapons, custom missions, leaderboards and more. Check out the latest trailer after the break.

French PSP site PSPGen has supposedly managed to acquire a European release schedule for upcoming PS3 and PSP titles. The report also includes scans of what seem to be brochures for PSP and PS3 console bundles.

It looks like Slant Six Games' SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALS Fireteam Bravo 3 is gearing up for an even explosive release as SCEA today revealed a brand new feature of the game. Now you can play with your friends with the new four player co-op mode throughout a single-player campaign.

While checking the QJ.NET PSP Updates blog for this week's PSP Weekend Warrior something struck me as odd. I couldn't pinpoint it exactly at first but eventually it dawned on me: we didn't see any PSP2 rumors this week! Or any hardware-centric news for that matter.
