Koei Tecmo - Image 1Koei Tecmo has just confirmed their stint at the coming London MCM Expo on October 24th to the 25th, and to make it easier for all of us to get updates on their booth, they've just launched the official site specifically made for the expo. The booth will be featuring the best of what the now combined publishers have to offer, and we now know what they'll be taking along for the trip.

Many thanks again to Peter Bauer!

Undead Knights - Image 1Undead Knights is an upcoming PSP action game from Tecmo. A free demo for the game was released just today as part of the regular Thursday update. Thing is, it seems there was a slight mistake on the part of whoever uploaded it.

Thanks to mallinersha for the tip!

QuickJump QuickPeek - Image 1We're getting closer to the last ten QuickPeeks before we hit our first 100th issue! But before that, there's so much more to look back at in just this past week alone. The individual Warriors are all fired up, each of them having their fair share of controversies to address. From broken firmwares to debunked rumors of firmwares, broken street dates, and broken company reputations, we have them all right here, so just jump right in and dig in.

Tecmo - Image 1With the resignation of former president Yoshimi Yasuda and the legal tussle with Tomonobu Itagaki, Tecmo sure had a pretty rough 2008. But just when you thought that it's late into 2009 and they've moved on with their lives, well, they haven't. Kotaku reports that Wikipedia caught the publisher trying to edit details of last year's events out of its own Wikipedia page.

TGS 2009 - Image 1 Just like almost every major Japanese game development and publishing company, Koei Tecmo has launched their own special Tokyo Game Show 09 website. Included in the site is a list of the games they will be showing off at the event. Hit the jump for the full list.

Undead Knights - Image 1In Tecmo's Undead Knights, players get to command a squad of undead soldiers conscripted from their freshly fallen enemies. These mindless minions do as they're told -- they can be used as ladders or bridges, or thrown at larger enemies to weigh them down. You can check out a series of images showing how the lead characters turn their enemies into zombies in these new screenshots released by Tecmo.

Koei Tecmo - Image 1After the Ninja Gaiden dojo, Tecmo, and Dynasty Warrior factory, Koei, completed their merger last April, the newly-formed Koei Tecmo Holdings is now hard at work on a crossover title, combining IPs from both publishers to launch a new one. Time to review those Koei and Tecmo titles so we can all play guessing games as to which IPs will be making it to the new Koei Tecmo title.

QuickJump QuickPeek - Image 1I'm personally baffled and not all too keen about Koei Tecmo's proposition of  incentivizing their staff to expand their families. Maybe they do need the population in their headquarters' town. But what I am sure of is that the news and updates here at QJ are expanding and on their own, beyond the shadows of E3.The (post) event updates have considerably slowed down, but in its place are new items and updates to buzz about, like a new custom firmware, executives' gripes about leakages in the industry, and pushing forth the race of this generation from mere hardware to motion control. It's all right here, so dig in.

Apu and hisbabies - Image 1The global population may be ballooning like mad, but Koei Tecmo seems to think that there aren't enough Dynasty Babies to form a strikeforce. If China has the One-Child policy to discourage procreation, Koei Tecmo does the exact opposite, providing monetary incentives for their employees to have more babies.
