Namco Bandai has crammed in a lot of extra content for the console versions of Tekken 6, among them some extra costumes. We've already seen Penny Arcade's Cardboard Tube Samurai costume for Yoshimitsu, so now let's take a look at the one that Japanese manga group Clamp designed for Jin. I really like his move set, his launch attacks, his low and ground attacks, his jabs - if only I had more time to study the guy, then I think I can change perceptions about the Japanese sumo champ. I think I will once Tekken 6 hits the consoles. Anyway, onto the trailer.

It's Tekken 6 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PSP) time. Today's exclusive trailer features the masked wrestler from Mexico, the chain-grabbing King. The roaring grabmaster has been a favorite since the days of the first Tekken and he's still got the moves to show why. His popularity may have toned down with the gameplay adjustments through the years, I believe, but King is still a deadly foe if you don't know how to handle grabs.

Wow. Lots of updates from Namco Bandai today. This one's not Tekken-related though. For now we turn to another mainstay in the company's portfolio -- the Tales franchise, specifically the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia and the PSP title Tales of VS.

Namco Bandai has released some new Tekken 6 screenshots featuring five of the fighters in the sixth King of Iron Fist Tournament: Alisa Bosconovich, Eddy Gordo, Lars Alexandersson, Marshall Law, and my personal favorite, Yoshimitsu. Check 'em out after the jump.

What do you do with the cardboard tubes when all the toilet paper's gone? You put 'em all together and slap Tekken lords with 'em! Rumors sparked earlier when the TekkenBob Twitter page upped a picture of the Penny Arcade fan favorite, Cardboard Tube Samurai, making an appearance in Tekken 6. Now, in yet another Twitter Page, we got confirmation from Penny Arcade artist Mike "Gabe" Krahulik that it's for real. More after the jump.

Another publisher formally announces its E3 roster, and for Namco Bandai, the list has to be the shortest I've seen for this year. No way they're gonna drop Tekken 6, but I thought it'd be accompanied by a few more titles than that plus a bunch of Dragon Ball games. Talk about traveling light.

Celebrating the Tekken franchise's 15th anniversary this year, Katsuhiro Harada took the Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion movement to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as an opportunity to rework the game's graphics. One of the big improvements to hit the release is the addition of the full-time variable blur - a first for fighting games. This feature adds to the overall visual impact of Tekken 6, applying more emphasis to the movement of each character.

Answering an earnings call, GameStop exec David W. Carlson reveals the release of four major titles by October and November. Noting that GameStop is a US retailer, the only conclusion we can make out of the info is that the release margins are for the US, and we can only speculate on how it's gonna be for other regions. Of note this week in Europe's PSN update are a handful of downloadable PSP games: LocoRoco and SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 2 being half of that list. The usual PS3 games get DLC packs again, but if you guys want to give Savage Moon a spin, there's a trial version available.
