Any of you interested in lottery? Anyone? Oh well. Just in case there is someone actually buying tickets for the lottery, this homebrew is for you. Concocted by lua game developer">the undead out of boredom (yeah, ain't it productive?), the PowerBALL Pick application is best for when you buy a power ball Ticket, but is undecided as to which numbers to pick.

To view the controls in the application, the button to press would be Triangle. Pressing L-Trigger takes screenshot one, while R-Trigger takes screenshot two. Press Circle and you'd have the numbers all cleared. Anyway, maybe you can have some PSP-quality time with your grandma through this. Or something.

So feel free to take a shot at lottery, and download the file right here. the undead encourages you to let him know if you find any bugs, or if you have any suggestions. Oh, and this is coded in lua.

Last EvilHave you heard of James Dingsdale before? It might be a shame that we haven't. But in case you have not heard of him as well, don't worry, your secret is safe with us. Anyway, he is actually a British independent film director. Not exactly highly acclaimed, but Dingsdale has the series Sky Raiders under his belt.

Why does this concern us, you wonder now. Apparently, the director just finished filming his next title, Last Evil of the SS, and it will experience a huge simultaneous online release for free. It is expected to go live on streaming media and to be available for direct download (no BitTorrent or P2P whatsoever) in early 2007. Supported formats are 3GP (for mobile phones) and MP4 (for the iPod video and the PSP).

Last Evil of the SS is produced by PBGA Motion Pictures. The film is about a British photographer who lands on a remote Norwegian island in search of a rare bird species. The photographer then finds out that the island is inhabited by the undead remains of a Nazi SS unit. It's worth a try, heck it's free, you have nothing to lose.

britishbulldog

the undead from our QJ forums has just released British Bulldog for the PSP, which is now in its BETA stage. For a first game, this is very promising since it's already playable at this point. There are three levels - Easy, Medium, and Hard - but expect that the levels will become more complex in time since the developer plans to add more levels.

The object of the game is to move your bulldog fast so that it doesn't hit the blue box (which is also moving). If you do so, you lose, which unfortunately happened a bit too quickly when we played it. You may also get stuck when you reach that "Gameover" phase but that's because like the undead says, the app is still very much in the BETA stage and needs a lot of fixes.

In the future, expect that the gfx will improve, there will be new things to see on the settings, and even scrolling backgrounds may be added. We're so looking forward to the future versions of this game. Any of your suggestions and comments are welcome in the QJ forums so please check it out by following the link below.
