Homebrew coder The Underminer has released a new version of PReSS, a portable RSS reader for the PSP. The latest update has added various improvements and bug fixes.

Third place winner of the Neoflash competition, Crazy Gravity Portable has gotten another update from The Underminer. As he states in the readme, this could potentially be his last one for the game. It's quite an important update too since it adds a lot of loading speed improvements and hacrazs fixed some crucial bugs. It's got seven new levels, which now brings the total to 10, among others.

This was a pretty good week for homebrew, since even if the releases have become a bit few and far between compared to when the homebrew scene was a booming one, the quality's still pretty high. PSP homebrew developer The Underminer has submitted his own entry to the Neoflash Spring Coding Compo. The game is called Crazy Gravity Portable, and is based on the original Crazy Gravity game by Axel Meierhofer. Details after the link.

Homebrew developer The Underminer was finally able to come up with the latest build to the PlayStation Portable homebrew app, PReSS v0.4. This portable RSS feed program now supports full integration with http 1.1 and is now more stable due to the reusing of connections. The Underminer certainly can't sit still with his project, PReSS, and has now in fact upped the ante to version 0.31. Changes in button configuration, unlocked unlimited sized mp3s for playback, and the addition of the most requested feature are discussed further in the full article.

The Underminer just informed us that there's a new version of his Galactic Breakout homebrew game. Now on version 1.1, this new version of Galactic Breakout has some fixes added onto it, and comes in three different flavors: a full game for FW 1.00, a full game for FW 1.50, and a patch for people who already have Galactic Breakout version 1.0 on their PSPs.

Here are the changes for Galactic Breakout version 1.1:

• fused BackGroundMusic and BGMvol under settings. Decrease all the way down to 0 to turn off BGM
• added paddle speed under settings. affects d-pad and analog stick
• track info does not show when BGM is turned off.
• fixed analog Inverse Paddle bonus bug
• fixed a bug with loading a particular image
• fixed laser+teleport bug
• fixed fruity loops bug
