Tomy Corporation has announced that their first PSP title, Pangya: Fantasy Golf, has gone gold, which means the anime-populated and RPG-infused golf title is now right on track for its launch next week.

A new trailer for Pangya: Fantasy Golf has been released today courtesy of TOMY Corporation. The new gameplay footage showcases the fantastic world of golf filled with endless customization options. It also highlights the game's gorgeous environment, playable characters and RPG gameplay elements.

Tomy Corporation has already started making a bigger presence for themselves in the games industry, moving past mere publishing and into actual sales and distribution for their Naruto games. What we have here today is the official debut trailer for TOMY Corporations, Pangya: Fantasy Golf for Sony's PlayStation Portable. As with a lot of other games out there right now, Pangya jumps aboard the customization bandwagon to put a little zing in an otherwise yawn-lawn of the sport of golf.

TOMY Corporation has finally revealed a target release window for Pangya: Fantasy Golf, the PSP  version of Ntreev Soft's popular Pangya MMO. According to TOMY associate producer Mike Jones, they are currently tracking a release sometime this Summer. Hit the full article for a few more details.

Last week we saw Nintendo lead the pack for the second week in a row as Mario Kart Wii dominated the software charts in Japan. This week tells a very similar story as the wacky go kart racing title racked in an additional 152,000 copies and took the top spot in the Media Create software chart list once again.
