Hideo Kojima - Image 1Speaking to the European PlayStation Blog in an interview, Hideo Kojima gave some more gameplay info about his next Solid masterpiece, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. After this one and Metal Gear Solid: Rising (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC), however, the real Big Boss behind Metal Gear Solid is set to leave the franchise in the hands of his younger colleagues at Kojima Productions, leaving the creative genius wide open for new games.

PSP Homebrew - Image 1 As the name blatantly suggests, DayViewer Beta 1, this is a beta plugin that allows you to view the day of the week. If you constantly get into time-warps like I do, then this will definitely be mighty helpful for those of you who can't keep proper track of the days (and so end up coming to work on weekends).

PSP Homebrew Weekend Warrior - Image 1It seems things have slowed down in the PSP homebrew scene this week, but that doesn't mean we didn't get to see any new apps and games. The games side was overshadowed by app releases during the past week so I'm just gonna scrunch them together into one list full of homebrew goodness. List up ahead!

PSP homebrew - Image 1A couple of days ago, reports of some PSP games messing with files in the ms0:/seplugins and ms0:/iso folders came to light. In response, homebrew developer Torch released CFW Folder Blocker, a plugin that hides these folders in GAME mode so they couldn't be accessed. That release also affected homebrew apps. This release fixes that problem.
