On Shelves This Week - Image 1Last week's batch may be a tough act to follow, but this week holds its own, bidding for your buck. The Call of Juarez prequel Bound in Blood (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC) is out now if you want a mean FPS. You can also give Infernal: Hell's Vengeance a look if the McCall brothers aren't mean enough for you. Be sure to check out the week's releases on this edition of On Shelves This Week.

On Shelves This Week - Image 1This is a much, much better line-up for our On Shelves section this week. As in MUCH. One, the Transformers are finally rolling out (unfortch, Megan Fox won't be included in your game purchase). Two, Fight Night Round 4 is also stepping into the ring to knock you out with. Three, The Conduit is also set to make waves on your Wii, and so is the Resident Evil Archives. And of course, the ever-present DS games for the kids. Yes, it doesn't just stop at three. Go ahead, check out what else is there this week.

Sony at E3 2009 - Image 1Man, Sony took their sweet time at their presentation, didn't they? Two full hours! However. I am not complaining. How could I? Sony definitely did their homework for this year, as compared to the last. Of course am sure many were also left wanting, but hey. You can't please everybody. And although they did get a major bulk of their announcements preemptively leaked, they still did have that shocker that got the nods of most of the attendees, if not all. Rundown and verdict on Sony's E3 2009 Presentation after the jump.

Prince of Persia - Image 1It's not everyday that we get fresh film footage for the up and coming film adaptation of Ubisoft's Prince of Persia video game, that's why we're leaning more towards welcoming this video interview with Jerry Bruckheimer, that also brings some sneak peek of the movie in development.

QuickJump QuickPeek - Image 1Can you feel the buzz now? We're definitely gearing up for E3. To be honest, I don't think we've ever been this excited about the E3. It just feels so wonderful to get that zing on once more, especially after the really, really, really tough past year for the gaming community. Good thing the industry continues to trudge along, making sure that our entertainment is their number one priority. And as you are our priority here at QJ, here's another week of recapped goodies for you, via our 71st edition of QJ QuickPeek.

Amazing Race - Image 1I've always wanted to join the Amazing Race, and this is probably the closest chance I'll ever get. Ludia Inc. has announced that they got the rights to develop CBS' reality TV show as a video game across multiple (but still unspecified) platforms. Sounds like they're going to go for some LBP-type of co-op gameplay with a partner.

So, any one of you want to pair up with me for the race? Dude, move it, let's go!

Tenchu 4 - Image 1Ask A Ninja ninja asks: when is Tenchu: Shadow Assassins for the PSP going to be released in North America? Grab those katanas, those shurikens, those smoke bombs, and rice balls. You'll eventually find a place to hide all of that underneath your ninja suit. We be movin' like shadows (and striking like butterflies... or... some such...) this March!
