PSP homebrew developer Xarro - who recently released the PSPWebcam application - has just sent out a video teaser of his latest upcoming project - a "Windows" API coded in Lua. API, for the guys wondering, is short for application programming interface, is often used as part of software development kits sent out to developers when building apps for particular Operating Systems.
Based on the description Xarro gave in the youtube video, this homebrew seems to be based on the Microsoft Windows API. Of course, we'll just have to wait for further clarifications - that shouldn't stop curious souls from watching the preview vid, though. Happy viewing! |

Right after the month of June kicked off, we shared with you a homebrew application concerning the PSP and its accessory add-on the Chotto Shot. The program itself is called Go! Cam Mod v1 and it's just a simple adjustment to the cam's rather loud sound.
This next PSP homebrew application still concerns cameras, specifically webcams. Italian homebrew developer Xarro dropped by the QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released PSPWebcam. Basically, this allows you to to connect your PC's webcam to your PSP and view the video feed from the console. To better understand this program, we're putting up a video clip created by Xarro himself. PSPWebcam also comes with a Readme file so don't forget to browse through that first. On a last note, the program doesn't work with Vista.
