Some documents from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) are suggesting that the new PSP Go may be packing more power under its sliding exterior than what Sony has officially revealed. Details after the jump.

Here's another useful plugin courtesy of junkfactory. The MusicPRX Mod is a custom firmware plugin that allows users to listen to music while browsing your XMB or playing games. This plugin was primarily built for PSP owners with cursed mobos that needs ChickHEN and Custom Firmware Enabler v3.50 to run homebrews.

The PSP blog saw a nice healthy balance of hardware and software news this week. PSP owners have been clamoring for a new GTA game for a long time now. This week they finally got their wish. Those holding out for a lower price point for the PSP Go, however... well, I'll just advise you not to hold your breath for it as Sony is showing no sign of backing down on this one. At least the launch titles are looking pretty good, along with the possibility of indie apps and maybe games. Read on for the rest of the PSP Weekend Warrior!

Japanese news site Game Watch managed to dig up more info on the PSP Go, shedding yet more light on Sony's new piece of hardware. They got word on the talked-about DualShock3/Sixaxis support, the in-game XMB feature, and pics of the PSP Go side-by-side with a PSP-3000 to give you the comparison that specs can't give. Homebrew coder Total_Noob is back with a new update for DayViewer Plugin, a handy app for your PSP that allows you to view the day of the week on your XMB. The new update has added new features to make the plugin more stable.

And you thought ChickHEN updates have reached a standstill? Heck no. We haven't even reached the yoke of the matter yet! It looks like Davee and the rest of Team Typhoon are busy updating their ChickHEN exploit to a new and very much improved R3. Just as M33 would have their custom firmwares, Team Typhoon also plans to incorporate a VSH menu and plugin support (among other features) to ChickHEN R3.

PSP homebrew dev XMBDebug has released a new version of his PSPrx Launcher app. This app is for those who can't wait until the plugin-capable ChickHEN R3 launches. It basically lets you launch plugins under ChickHEN.

xDownloader v1.0 is a Cydia-like homebrew application specially made for the PSP, and created by French developer J3r3mie. Looks like he's already beat all the  other drafters of Cydia on the PSP.
