Homebrew developer Zack has released Snes9X Euphoria R1, an SNES emulator for the PSP based on Ruka's Snes9xTyl. This release deals mainly with speed, so if you're running into framerate problems on your old SNES emulators you might want to give this a try.

One of the most anticipated titles for the PlayStation Portable this year is Square Enix's Dissidia: Final Fantasy. The game brings together stars from all of the main titles in the Final Fantasy franchise in one, big free-for-all where the victors will decide the fate of the world. Homebrew developer Zack has released a new update for LuaPlayer Euphoria, a faster Luaplayer based on LuaPlayer v0.20 by Shine. The latest release now supports Ogg playback and has further increased the speed of the excellent homebrew player.

Coming from PSP homebrew developer Zack is version 4 for his LuaPlayer Euphoria project. This version is in response to the complaints he's received on v2.0 of the said app, particularly removing the module loading from the 2.0 code.
