X-Flash V10

On his previous version, Art promised that he'll come up with v10 of his X-Flash application after a week. Well, in a way he broke his promise; because he's releasing it to us today, just barely six days after v9i. They say "promises are meant to be broken", well if they come in this way, I wouldn't mind it.

As he said in his last version, this update will allow you to further customize your PSP's system firmware through the ability to change cursor clicking, and icon selection sounds in the XMB menu. Now that there more PSP owners enjoying the 1.50 world, more people can accomplish a variety of changes to the PSP's system firmware. Just make sure you know what you're doing though, cause if you're not very careful in using this there's a chance you could brick your PSP.

Here's what new for this version:

- Change cursor clicking, and Icon selection sounds in the XMB menu!
- Auto restore option removes all modifications performed by the program, and leaves the PSP in it's original state with a single button press.
- New implementation of mp3 feature added as normal option with option to delete the song from flash.
- Parental control implementation using standard PSP parental control system.
- Battery level checking at startup to allow mobile use without mains adaptor.
- Some custom labels for the XMB Music icon.
- Increased overall speed of operation, added dither effect for menu enhancement. Program code optimization.

» sorting out Games into seperate folders

if you could sort out the games section into seperate folders, eg Homebrew, Apps, ISO etc this would be the only useful change to the psp flash memory

 » damn

All I see on the PSP page is homebrew, homebrew, homebrew. I'm not against it, but I don't use it so I'm always scrolling to the bottome of the page for some hope of PSP news that doesn't have to do with homebrew. You guys should make a page for just PSP stuff and another page for homebrew stuff.

 » new to fw1.5

would i be right in assuming that if you write a mp3 to the flash it replaces that jingle when you first power up or load your homebrew?

also can this change your back ground image??

im stuck with the boring psp one since downgrading to fw1.5???

How much of a life can you have if you get so bothered by it? Try the hide unregistered users tab.

check out here:

http://z7.invisionfree.com/ghettogamerz/index.php?s=f638cfbadb5a3be45a3c3f86d447f295&showtopic=2

comes with everything you need to change:

-the bootup sound
-The gameboot
-the background

also comes with alot of good apps for psp

just remember backgrounds for 1.5 HAVE to be 300X170 or else you will brick your psp...

all files in that pack work and are tested by me for safety.

Why would you need iRshell AND fileassistant?

iRshell whips fileassistants ass in a lot of ways

   by gamer (Unregistered) - 2006-07-06
 » well

to #23.. because iR shell CAN'T copy!!!!! well yes it can and it does it way faster than File Assisstant, but... what if you wanna copy or move a few file in one folder but want to keep the other ones in the same folder? takes forever to browse throught from the file to destination, if iR can have a "select" option where we can select all the file we wanna move, itd be the one shell ill keep forever! well iR is ALREADY AWESOME!!! but the copy features not good for moving large amount of files. thats why you need file assistant, and dude do i love xflash!
